Announcing the 2012

TNT
TORRANCE NATIONAL
TOURNAMENT

March 22-24, 2012
Wilson Park
Torrance, California

Welcome to the Torrance National Tournament WEBSITE.

With Canyon High School discontinuing involvement with the Faster 2 First event, Coach Don Glavich of Torrance High School and John Joseph, operational director of Faster 2 First, have decided to continue this great tradition.

The TNT will resemble Faster 2 First in many ways.  Most importantly pitting top programs from Southern, Central and Northern California in a 3-day, 5-game guarantee format against teams from throughout the United States.

It is a given that this will be a premier event on the field and operationally conducted in a manner fitting a tournament of this stature.

In addition, this will be a team and family friendly event. Team Hotels and the Del Amo Mall and Fashion Center, with over 300 major retailers, specialty shops, entertainment venues and restaurants, are just blocks from the fields.

The Beaches of Torrance and Redondo, plus King Harbor Marina with it’s piers, shops, restaurants, water and boating activities, are less than 5 minutes away.

The City of Torrance is 20 minutes from LAX and Long Beach Regional airports.  Disneyland, Knotts, Hollywood, Rodeo Drive and Venice Beach are less than 45 minutes away.  The many other sites and attractions of Southern California are all within easy driving distance.

Our goal is not only to make this the premier tournament of its kind in the country, but also present opportunities for interaction among participants from different regions of the United States to help enrich the total high school experience.
